Step 6
1) Inside the final boss room you’ll see Guardian of Transcendence again. He is perma-rooted and at 50%. He will start summoning once aggroed. Here you can finally kill him completely.
2) Once Guardian of Transcendence dies 4x Vrex Xalkak`s Sentinel will spawn. Only a specific class can get the kill shot or it will respawn. You’ll see some subtle emotes in chat telling you which class. For me I only received Bard and Rogue emotes since I was just playing these classes at the time. The emotes are class roleplay specific and fairly easy to identify.
They also cast a nasty Mana Drain.
Partial emote text:
Foreboding melody: Bard
Deep gashes of feral savagery: Beastlord
Shies from heavy blades: Berserker
Dread of celestial spirit: Cleric
The creature seems weak in the face of the power of nature: Druid
Mind and body vulnerable: Enchanter
Summoned elements: Magician
Focused tranquility: Monk
Doom of death: Necromancer
Holy blade: Paladin
True shots and fast blades: Ranger
Ignores anything behind it: Rogue
Cringe at the appearance of talismans: Shaman
Dreads the strike of dead: Shadowknight
Brute force and brawn: Warrior
Falters when struck with the power of the elements: Wizard
Vrex Xalkak`s Sentinel’s
– Estimated 50K – 100K HP
– Hits 1600+ (35 Heroic Stamina)
– Immune to Slow
– Rampage
– Casts Throw (Single Target, 3000 DD + Knockback, -1000 Magic Based)
– Casts Grip of Stone (PBAE, -500 HP/Mana Tick, -300 Chromatic)
3) Once 4x Vrex Xalkak`s Sentinel die Vrex Xalkak`s Marauder spawns. This guy is similar that certain classes must kill him but he is more forgiving in that only a class arch-type has to get the killing blow, not a specific class.
The creature will perish under the strength of intelligent magic: Casters
Combined strength and ingenuity: Hybrid
Strength and cunning: Melee
Cannot stand the power of healers: Priest
Vrex Xalkak`s Marauder
– Estimated 300K HP
– Hits 2400+ (35 Heroic Stamina)
– Immune to Slow
– Rampage
– Casts Cataclysm of Stone (PBAE, 3000 DD, -350 Chromatic Based)
4) Vrex Xalkak Nixki will also spawn and become attackable once Vrex Xalkak`s Marauder dies. He also has a nasty PBAE Mana Drain. His HP % seems to fluctuate. I am not sure of the exact mechanic of what (if anything) causes this. I was able to engage him at 5% HP and kill him off quickly. Once he dies you have beaten the raid!
NOTE: Make sure to loot
Vrex Xalkak Nixki
– Estimated 3 million HP
– Hits 2400+ (35 Heroic Stamina)
– Immune to Slow
– Casts Rain of Stone (Targeted AE, 1500 DD, -300 Chromatic Based)
– Casts Grip of Stone (PBAE, -500 HP/Mana Tick, -300 Chromatic Based)
