Step 1

Seek out Meldrek and speak with him about an alternate entrance into Xill

• Hail Meldrek nearby for an update.
  
• Say “ready” to Meldrek to zone in.

Step 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7

Hunt the witheran in the waters before Xill (0/10)
Recover a chunk of witheran meat (0/1)

• Kill 10x witheran in the water, while killing them loot a Chunk of Witheran Meat.

Destroy any guards that you encounter in the city (0/25)
Recover a few layers of drachnid skin (0/4)
Seek out the diligent silkweavers and destroy them (0/10)
Gather any drachnid silk that you can manage to recover (0/4)

• Kill 25x drachnids and/or a diligent silkweaver in the city area, while killing them loot 4x Layer of Drachnid Skin and 4x Finely Threaded Drachnid Silk

Step 8 and 9

Clear a path into the Prince’s chambers and slay the Chamber Guardian (0/1)
Recover the guardian’s helm (0/1)

• Clear a path and kill The Chamber Guardian. Note that trash does respawn in this zone. Loot Drachnid War Helmet once he is dead.

Slowable, 250K HP, hits harder the lower his HP gets (up to 2.5k-3K with 35 HSTAM). Also does AE Root/Snare, DoT’s and knockbacks. Tank him in a corner.

The Chamber Guardian also drops an item in the 150 HP/Mana range, with no heroic or special stats.

Step 10, 11, 12, and 13

Return to Kelliad with the chunk of larva at once (0/1)
Return to Kelliad with the layers of drachnid skin at once (0/4)
Return to Kelliad with the drachnid silk at once (0/4)
Return to Kelliad with the protectors helm at once (0/1)

• Say “ready to go” to Meldrek to zone out.
• Give all looted items from previous steps to Kelliad to complete the mission.

Depending on your class, everyone in the group will receive one of the two following items on their cursor:

Caster/Healer receive: Rippled Cape
Melee/Hybrid receive: Flowing Cape of Grief

Note that these items can be used at level 1, and are great for twinks on free trade servers!
