The special event for Rogues takes place in Plane of Mischief. Bring Lockpicks! You will probably want a tank, and maybe a healer too (to be safe), unless you are super over-leveled. Have the tank and healer wait on the stage in the theater room behind the curtain. A boss will spawn here later after the Rogue completes a task. This boss has almost 500K HP, but is vulnerable to backstabs at certain times. Hits for like 600 on level 75 SK with average gear.

Now for the task:

1) Start by zoning in and head to the main room of the castle. The NPC Drenick Nyrae will spawn in the Northwest corner. You can stay Shroud of Stealth during this as Drenick Nyrae can see through it. Hail him and he will begin to path. Follow him as he moves through the fake wall behind him. Continue following him, he will stop outside of the “dining room”. You’ll see a variety of emote spam. Once the emote spam completes you’ll see a bunch of NPC’s spawn at the dining table inside.

2) Shroud of Stealth around them (try to stay away, they may aggro, or maybe not?? Unconfirmed.) and talk to Mayor Onasie from behind his chair. Follow all his dialogue until eventually you’ll see a prompt to say “ready”. Say “ready” to begin the event.

3) You’ll see a broken toy spawn with Delicious Candy behind it. Our goal will be to collect this Delicious Candy, but a broken toy will block you at first, so we have to do a few things.

4) Stand to the left of the a broken toy (it’s left), and start spamming your Sense Trap ability. You can be right next to it, it’s not far. This will reveal a hidden chest Trapped Toy Chest. If your skill is low it may take some tries.

5) Once Trapped Toy Chest is revealed, use “Disarm Trap” until you get a message that it is disarmed. This will reveal a smaller chest inside, Locked Toy Chest.

6) Use “Pick Lock” to open Trapped Toy Chest, once picked, you can open it with /open. At this point you’ll see some more emote spam and a broken toy will slide out of the way. Run directly over Delicious Candy to collect it. a broken toy will depawn.

7) Talk to Mayor Onasie again. Say “done”. He will mention that you are still missing two pieces of evidence, and want you to confirm that you are done. This is OK. Say “quite sure” to confirm you are done. The room will despawn. Leave the room and Hail Drenick Nyrae again. He will path towards the theater. Follow him there.

8) Once at the theater head on the stage behind the curtain and meet up with your tank and healer (who should have been waiting here this whole time). After some time a chest will spawn (Fizzlethorpe’s Shiny Hoard). /loot it to spawn Bristlebane’s Jovial Jester, level 75, approx 450-500k HP, hits 600+ maybe a bit harder. This is a tank and spank. He will occasionally do some emotes you can respond to by saying “knock knock”, which seem to make him periodically vulnerable to Backstabs. Once killed you’ll be ported to the zone in and will receive your Quest update!
