This guide covers the different type of Inventory Windows that hold items with a brief description of their function. Everquest has a lot windows that hold a variety of items, this guide tries to organize it all in one spot. If any are missing, feel free to let me know in Discord.

Inventory – 8 slots to start, 12 max
– 2 added in House of Thule
– 2 added from “Merchant’s Perk” $2.99-4.99 per month
Bank – 16 slots to start, 24 max
– 8 added in Prophecy of Ro
Shared Bank – 2 slots to start, 6 max
– 2 added in Call of the Forsaken
– 2 added in The Burning Lands
– Used to share items/platinum between characters on an account
Alt. Currency – Used to store many in-game currencies
Merc (Mercenary) – Used to equip Mercenary Gear
Radiant/Ebon Crystals – Dragons of Norrath currency. In main Inventory window rather than in Alt Currency Window
Mounts – Holds Mounts. You can hold left-click on a stat mount in the window and drag it to “Stat Mount” Box to always get stats from this mount regardless of which mount you summon.
– Additional slots can be purchased in store
Illusions – Holds Illusions. You can  hold left-click on a stat Illusion in the window and drag it to “Stat Illusion” Box to always get stats from this Illusion regardless of which Illusion you cast.
– Additional slots can be purchased in store
Familiars – Holds Familiars. You can hold left-click on a stat familiar in the window and drag it to “Stat Familiar” Box to always get stats from this Familiar regardless of which Familiar you cast.
– Additional slots can be purchased in store
Hero’s Forge – Holds “Hero’s Forge” Armor Ornamentation’s
– Additional slots can be purchased in store
Teleportations – Holds Items that have have the ability to teleport, such as Arx Key.
Note: Some teleport items can’t be placed here, such as Book of Knowledge.
– Additional slots can be purchased in store
Item Overflow – Used if you have too many items, or sometimes an item may bug out and get put into this window.
– GM’s can also send items via this window
– Other random use cases
– Accessed by typing /item
Parcels – Used as a “mailbox” between players. Up to 50 items can sit here at once without risk of disappearing
– Accessed via “parcel vendors”
Recover – Use “Tokens of Reclamation” (bought in Store) to recover recently destroyed items
– Accessed via most vendors
Plot Items – Manage items placed on your real estate plot. Must be on plot to use
Dragon’s Hoard – Holds additional items. Lore Items can be placed both here and in regular inventory/bank
– Accessed via Bank
– 125 Slots (Paid Accounts), 40 Slots (Free Accounts)
– Additional slots can be purchased in store
– Must have purcahsed Claws of Veeshan, or can be purchased through Daybreak Store
Tradeskill Depot – Holds Tradeskill Items
– Must have purchased Night of Shadows (may become available individually in store)
– Accessed via Bank or a Tradeskill Container
– Additional slots can be purchased in store
Shroud Bank – Items earned while shrouded go here when unshrouding
– Items expire after 48 hours if not removed from this window
Tavid Dennant (NPC) – Holds Seeds of Destruction Quest Pieces
– Located in Guild Lobby
