Raid Trial: The Mastery of Hate
(Projection of Mind)
Muramite Proving Grounds

Speak to Projection of Mind and say “hatred” to get the instance. This is designed for up to 54 players in era.

Once inside, say “begin” to Master of Hate to start the event.

 

NOTE: If you do not have any “tank” class in the trial area the event will fail. I used a WAR meet this requirement. It is possible that PAL/SHD work as well, but I haven’t tested this personally.

 

Phase 1

Veracious Feran

– 600K HP
– Hits 1200+
– Slowable
– Perma-rooted

You will see 6x Voracious Feran on the platforms around the room. Your goal is to kill all 6 of them to complete Phase 1. The 6x Voracious Feran will periodically spawn direpups throughout the fight. The direpups can come out of any of the Voracious Feran. Each time one of the Voracious Feran spawns a direpup it will lose 6% HP. You’ll need to stay on top of killing the direpups as they spawn. It is recommended to have Knight Classes keep aggro on the Voracious Feran from a distance so when the direpups spawn they aggro the knight first, then other tanks can pull them off. You can do this until the Voracious Feran is at approx. 20% HP, at which point it will no longer lose HP % and must be killed off directly.

There are 3 types of direpups that can spawn, each are a little different in terms of how they can be CC’d and their mechanics. They can proc a nasty 4000 DD + stun. One is mezzable, one is charmable, and one is neither. All are slowable.

 

Feeble Direpup

– 27K HP
– Hits 1200+ (35 Heroic Stamina)
– Mezzable
– Slowable
– Casts Lash Out (Single Target, 4000 DD + 6 stun, -450 Chromatic Based)

Ferocious Direpup

– 27K HP
– Hits 600+ (35 Heroic Stamina)
– Immune to Mez
– Slowable
– Casts Lash Out (Single Target, 4000 DD + 6 stun, -450 Chromatic Based)

Pliant Direpup

– 27K HP
– Hits 600+ (35 Heroic Stamina)
– Immune to Mez
– Slowable
– Charmable
– Casts Lash Out (Single Target, 4000 DD + 6 stun, -450 Chromatic Based)

 

Phase 2

Once all 6x Voracious Feran are dead Master of Hate will attack. Kill him to complete the event. Before killing the last Voracious Feran  it is recommended keep the raid away from the center platform so that a tank can pick Master of Hate up when he spawns. He can potentially kill any non-tank in 1 round. He hits hard and fast. He is slowable and rampages.

You will want to have multiple tanks taunt off each other periodically as the longer he is on one target the harder he will hit. I have seen him hit for as little as roughly 3K max upon engage and as high as 13K max (possibly keeps getting higher). His rampage also hits hard so have healers and a rampage tank prepared.

 

– 1.5 Million HP
– Hits harder the longer he is on the same target. Starting at roughly 3K or perhaps a bit lower (35 Heroic Stamina) and scaling up each combat round.

– Casts Withering Heat (Single Target, 1500 DD / -200 Endurance, -475 Fire Based)
