Plane of Hate/Fear Planar Armor (Classic-Live)

There are several revamps that take place for both of these zones. Below is what I was able to piece together after doing a lot of research and verifying what I can in-game. It still may be missing some information or is not entirely accurate (Velious Set Armor in particular).

Kunark
PoHate + PoFear: Iksar only Armor Set is available for SHM/SK/WAR.

Velious
PoFear: Difficulty of mobs increase and various loot is improved to Velious level. This is the final revamp for PoFear.

PoHate: DRU/PAL/RNG get Velious Class Quest equivalent set items. NPC’s stay the same although Innoruuk’s loot may also change at this point (unconfirmed). Note: Drop mobs for these armor sets is not 100% confirmed. See additional notes at the bottom the page where the Velious Armor is listed.

LDoN
PoHate: Zone is revamped. Includes trash, named, and Innoruuk. Some loot may drop from different NPC’s than before. Some loot is added or improved.

For reference you can see a few Developer posts >> HERE <<. Keep in mind they do not mention all changes that happen to PoHate. There were so many changes over the years that it’s easy to get confused about what changes when on a TLP. Even Devs don’t seem to know unless they deep dive into it. I believe the information I have gathered to be close to accurate, but cannot guarantee everything 100%.

Note: a haunted chest in Plane of Hate drop a wide variety of Planar Set Items for multiple classes from both PoHate and PoFear (likely Classic only sets).

Note: I was not able to get any of these Velious Class set pieces to drop after 2 hours of farming in the LDoN+ Version of the zone using a high level character that could kill quickly. In the LDoN+ version they are either super rare or may not drop. My hunch is that they are just rare. I have no way to test the drops in the Velious version of PoHate but I believe at the minimum the NPC’s listed in the chart above should drop the items. More information needed.
