Raid Size: 6 – 42: Can be requested with offline characters in group
Progression Tier: Tier 3 Progression

1) Zone into Lavaspinner’s Lair via The Broodlands. You can use your compass to find the zone in portal.

 2) Volkara can be found in the southeastern most room.

3) Volkara is a fairly straight forward fight.

– Hits 1600+
– 750K HP
– Slowable
– Rampages
– Flurries
– Casts Volkara’s Bite (PBAE, 2000 DD, -200 HP DoT, -100 Mana/Endurance DoT, 25 Poison Counter, -300 Poison Based, 1 minute recast)
– Highly resistant or immune to fire. Least resistant to Cold.
– At 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%, and 10% HP a few (5 at a time?) Egg Sacs spawn on top of random players. Kill them as they spawn (16K HP each). If not killed quickly they will spawn Magma Spiderlings that you’ll need to kill (3 per Sac?).  Other than this mechanic just burn the boss.

**Make sure to loot  Lava Spider Spinners for progression.**

NOTE: Don’t forget to turn in your Dark Reign Token or Norrath’s Keepers Token to Xeib Darkskies (Dark Reign) or Tatsujiro the Serene (Norrath’s Keepers) in Lavastorm Mountains.
