Our goal as a Ranger will be to maximize DPS. With no level increase from Kunark, or AA’s to obtain, Velious is mainly a raiding expansion. There are several options for both maxing out STR/DEX and for getting a good haste item, so feel free to go off-track from this guide to fit your needs. It is not likely you’ll get every item on this list within a normal Velious TLP cycle. Focus on Goals 1-4 below and you’ll be in good shape.
In this guide, we focus on getting the below:
Ranger Goals:
1) Best in Slot Weapons
2) 41% Worn Haste Item
3) “Worn” +Attack items. In this guide those slots will be Belt, Face, 1 Wrist.
4) Strength/Dexterity as high as possible while still trying to obtain decent AC.
5) After 1-4 (our core needs) are met we’ll get our resists high as possible to minimize our damage taken in AE fights. We’ll also keep Stamina and HP in mind to increase our health.
Below are stats you can expect with the gear below. Your results will vary a bit depending on which items you choose, your race, and starting stats. This gear was custom made to fit together in attempt to maximize stats for raiding. Mix and match your gear as needed as Velious has many options.
