Step 1

Seek out Meldrek and speak with him about an alternate entrance into Xill

• Hail Meldrek nearby for an update.
  

Step 2, 3, and 4

Fight through the gates and explore the courtyard of the city 0/1
Destroy any drachnids that you encounter 0/25
Search for any information on the shiliskin survivors 0/1

• Say “ready” to Meldrek to zone in.
• Once inside the instance, kill drachnids until reaching the courtyard for an update. MAP
• Continue clearing drachnids up one of the towers. Once 25 are dead, Warlord Drellak will spawn at the top of one of the towers. Kill him and loot Tome of the Deep Waters for the final update.
  Flurries, Slowable, 200K HP, Hits 1700 (35 Heroic Stamina). Seems to hit pretty fast.

Warlord Drellak also drops an item in the 150 HP/Mana range, with no heroic or special stats.

Step 5

Return to Kelliad with the tome at once

• Say “ready to go” to Meldrek to zone out.
• Give Tome of the Deep Waters to Kelliad to complete the mission.

Depending on your class, everyone in the group will receive one of the two following items on their cursor:

Caster/Healer receive: Loose Weave Neckguard
Melee/Hybrid receive: Necklace of the Xillian Scount

Note that these items can be used at level 1, and are great for twinks on free trade servers!
