Turn-Ins (Step 9-12) – Must be done in order:

[ ] Give Shandral (The Overthere) The Dreadeye,   Block of Black Ore,   Horns of a Sarnak Noble,   Sleek Black Beads to receive  Intricate Shield. Indifferent+ Faction

[ ] Give Ayslare N`Vor (The Overthere) Intricate Shield and Tatrinek’s Curse to receive Shield of the Dark! Indifferent+ Faction

Step 1

In The Mines of Nurga kill Poguu the Herbalist. Loot   Words of the Dark. Always drops.

There are two versions of The Mines of Nurga:

Kunark – Legacy of Ykesha (1.0):  PH information not confirmed — PH is likely any of the mobs on the West side. Reported to be level 30-35 range.

Lost Dungeons of Norrath+ (2.0): PH seems to be any mob in the West side. Level 50. I have seen him spawn at a few different locations in the hallway.

 

Step 2

Loot Black Steel Defender from Spectral Solider in Emerald Jungle. He is a rare spawn in the northwest area of the zone near Severilous. Kill mobs in this area to spawn him. He can roam around a bit. Level 50. Always drops.

Note: He may also spawn in other areas of the zone, but I was able to spawn him pretty frequently using the area shown. Just keep in mind Severilous has a big aggro radius you’re KoS.

 

 

Step 3

Loot   Sleek Black Beads from Nightclaw Raptor in Trakanon’s Teeth. Always drops. Level 50. His PH are the undead spectral mobs that spawn and roam in the ruins that lead to Old Sebilis. For me he spawned at -1790, -2740 between two trees (see map). A tracker is recommended.

 

 

Step 4

Loot  Dark Invocation from Dark Invoker in City of Mist. Level 48. Always drops. He spawns on the 2nd floor with trash as his placeholder. I recommend clearing out all the trash on this floor to spawn him. He may spawn up on the 3rd floor/ramps as well but I have not verified this.

You’ll need a key or a Pick Lock class to get up to this area.

 

Step 5

Loot  Scroll of the Dark from skeletal baron/duke/harbinge/hierophant in Old Sebilis. These NPC’s spawn in the Crypt area, which will require a Pick Lock to access. I looted mine off skeletal hierophant. There are two dukes, the 2nd one is the PH for blood of chottal. Each of these mobs are PH for a named. Rare drop. It took me a few hours to get this one.

 

Step 6

Loot   Horns of a Sarnak Noble from Di`Zok Noble in Chardok. He spawns in the “royal” area. Exact radius of his potential PH’s is not clear. Speculation is that it can anywhere from just inside the 1st trap bridge all the way to the King/Queen area. I have seen it spawn on both sides. I recommend clearing as much out as possible in these areas. Always drops.

Step 7

Loot  Tatrinek’s Curse from one of the following mobs in Chardok. Uncommon drop.

A Shai`din Bloodomen – spawns in the “Korucust” room. Other mobs in the room are PH.
an Imperial Advisor – Spawns next to Queen Velazul Di`zok. This is a PH for Grand Advisor Zum`uul (who also may drop Tatrinek’s Curse – unconfirmed)

 

 

Step 8

Loot   Block of Black Ore from The Hole:
Hole 1.0: a rock golem (Classic – Legacy of Ykesha) – spawn all over the zone
Hole 2.0: a broken construct (LDoN+) – spawn on the west side of the zone

This is an uncommon drop.

 

 

Step 9

1) Go to The Overthere and locate Shandral. You’ll need to be indifferent faction to do this turn-in.

 

2) Give Shandral Scroll of the Dark, Words of the Dark, Dark Invocation to receive Lore of the Dark.

 

 

Step 10

1) Go to The Overthere and locate Ayslare N`Vor. You’ll need to be indifferent faction to do this turn-in.

2) Give Ayslare N`Vor Lore of the Dark and Black Steel Defender to receive The Dreadeye.

Step 11

1) Go to The Overthere and locate Shandral. You’ll need to be indifferent faction to do this turn-in.

2) Give Shandral  The Dreadeye,   Block of Black Ore,   Horns of a Sarnak Noble,   Sleek Black Beads to receive  Intricate Shield.

 

 

Step 12

1) Go to The Overthere and locate Ayslare N`Vor. You’ll need to be indifferent faction to do this turn-in.

2) Give Ayslare N`Vor  Intricate Shield and Tatrinek’s Curse to receive Shield of the Dark!
