Step 1

Seek out Meldrek to gain information about the Drachnid city

• Hail Meldrek nearby for an update.
  

Step 2

Locate the entrance to the City of Xill

• A marker will appear on your compass. Follow the marker to the instance zone in. Be invis. MAP

Step 3

Seek out Overseer Renok and follow him

• Overseer Renok is in the room up ahead, when you get close he will start some dialogue. Follow him to the update point. Upon zoning in everyone will be a spider. Nobody will get aggro while in spider form. Once you arrive at his update location everyone will be transformed back to their regular form, and spiders can again aggro. Mobs see invis here so move as a group. When he gets to the update point he will stand on top of Commander Hithrav. Stay back until ready to fight.

Step 4

Kill Commander Hithrav and the Overseer

• Kill both Commander Hithrav (90K HP) and Overseer Renok (50K HP). They are easy. Both slowable. You may want to clear nearby enemies to avoid adds.

Step 5

Search for Ilsuras

• Clear enemies to the underwater area on the MAP. Click on the underwater monument. 4-5 spiders will spawn on you when you click it so be ready to fight. This will unlock a door in the tunnels up ahead. You’ll see some emotes when getting close and also when clicking it.
• Continue to clear to the next room MAP. You’ll see a chest behind a jail door. You can walk through the door and click the chest for an emote.
• Clear to the next room. MAP. Here you’ll see Ilsuras and get an update.

Step 6 and 7

Slay Protector Iknar
Slay Protector Vrek

• You’ll see a little script where Illsuras gets killed. Prince Drillen won’t engage. Wait for the script and kill both Protector Iknar and Protector Vrek (43K HP each). Easy fight.

Step 8

Take Illsuras’ Dagger from Prince Drillien’s Chest

• Loot Illsuras’ Dagger of Contempt from the chest in the room. You’ll also get a mediocre 150HP/Mana item.

Step 9

Search for a way to activate Drillien’s hidden teleportation ring

• Backtrack 1 room north. Click on the middle of the three orbs for an update. MAP

Step 10

Quickly gather within the teleportation stones to exit Xill without a trace

• A big colorful transportation device will spawn. Walk into it to zone out. You may get aggro when zoning out so be invis.

Step 11

Deliver 1 Ilsuras’ Dagger of Contempt to Kelliad

• Give Ilsuras’ Dagger of Contempt to Kelliad to complete the mission..

Depending on your class, everyone in the group will receive one of the two following items on their cursor:

Caster/Healer receive: Deathshed Priest Mantle
Melee/Hybrid receive: Gilded Shoulderpads

Note that these items can be used at level 1, and are great for twinks on free trade servers!
