Champion’s Sword of Eternal Power

 

You must have either completed the Warrior 1.0 Epic or the Warrior 1.5 Pre-Quest to begin this quest.

Prefarmable Steps (This is assuming OoW is unlocked):

– Step 2 – Ground spawns in Dranik’s Scar
– Elder Elvish Language to 100
– Craft a Gemming Tool with Blacksmithing (tradable)
– Buy Spell: Fire from Druid Ring vendor in Lavastorm
– Craft a Nocturnal Mask of Acurity with Jewelcrafting (tradable)
– Step 23 – Maybe ground spawns can be picked up early – Not verified

 

Step 1

Go to Dranik’s Scar and locate Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350).

Say “thing” to receive emote (it is recommended to go through his full dialogue):

Step 2

Collect 4 items in Dranik’s Scar:

These are all ground spawns at various locations. You usually will only find 1 spawn of each item up at a time. Sometimes no spawn will be up and you’ll have wait. I got all of them on my first run around the zone except for Page II, which took about an hour until one spawned. They look like a bag sitting on the ground. See Map.

**Blackfall Ore spawns will be used in a later Step – if you see one pick it up.**

 

Step 3

While still in Dranik’s Scar, go back to Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350). Give him:

He will hand them back and give an emote:

Step 4

Go to Abysmal Sea and locate Rewina Jalmoy. He is on the ships deck. Give him:

Step 5

Go back to Dranik’s Scar and locate Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350). Give him Recounted History of War to receive Energy Receptor (TEMPORARY ITEM).

– Say “Rock”

 

Step 6

For this step the end goal is to get Blackfall Ore. There are two ways to get one:

1) You can find it as a ground spawn (see map in Step 2). This way is potentially much faster if you happen to find one up, but you may not always find one easily.

2) You will have to be very patient with this option. Put Energy Receptor from Step 5 on your cursor. You’ll begin to get emotes:

I got this message for for 40 minutes straight. Eventually you’ll get:

Following this will lead you to Blackfall Borer. Follow Blackfall Borer while you’re invisible and eventually he will drop a bag on the ground, which has Blackfall Ore inside.

Step 7

While still in Dranik’s Scar, go back to Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350). Give him Blackfall Ore. He will give it back.

Say “smith” to receive Smelting Plans.

Step 8

1) Grab a stack of Water Flasks then go to Nedaria’s Landing. Locate a blacksmith (+1350, -190). There are two. The one you’re looking for is the iksar on the second floor of the hut. There is a small ladder you can climb.

2) Hail her. She will turn into Korezna Orecleaver.

3) Give Korezna Orecleaver 4x Water Flask. She will ask for more. Give her 2x Water Flask more. She will emote:

 

4) After you give her enough Water Flasks, she will “cool down a bit”. At this point you can give her
Blackfall Ore and Smelting Plans. A few seconds later you’ll receive Blackfall Blade.

 

Step 9

Go back to Dranik’s Scar and locate Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350).

– Give him Blackfall Blade. He will hand it back.

– Say “loose”

Step 10

1) Take a group to Barindu, Hanging Gardens and locate Apprentice Udranda.

2) “Hail” Apprentice Udranda, then say “Vxed” to get an instance for Vxed, the Crumbling Caverns.

3) Once inside Vxed you’re looking for 3x Blackfall Borerling. See Red Circles on the map for their spawn locations.

Once all 3 are dead you’ll get emote:

At this point Blackfall Borer spawns. See Purple Circle on the map. Kill it and loot Vial of Blackfall Blood.

Step 11

Go back to Dranik’s Scar and locate Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350). Give him Vial of Blackfall Blood to receive Sealed Vial of Blackfall Blood.

– Say “vision”
– Say “journey”

 

Step 12

Having Bard/Mount speed and/or a tracker can be helpful here.

1) Go to Everfrost and locate Kimber Whitefoot. He spawns at the Halas zoneline at 7 AM gametime and runs to Permafrost. Once he gets there he will despawn. Catch him while hes running and give him
Sealed Vial of Blackfall Blood. He will emote but will continue to run towards Permafrost:

2) Stay in Everfrost until 7 PM gametime. At 7 PM he will respawn again, but this time he spawns at the Permafrost zoneline and runs to Halas. Hail him to receive Potion of Blackfall Spirit.

 

Step 13

Go back to Dranik’s Scar and locate Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350). Give him Potion of Blackfall Spirit. He will give it back.

Say “vision”

Step 14

Form a small raid and go to The Bloodfields. In the southwest section of the zone you’ll find 4x Girplan Slasher. Kill them and Girplan Devourer will spawn. Kill Girplan Devourer and loot Decrepit Hilt.

– Hits 1600+
– Flurries
– AE Ramps
– Casts Corrosive Breath (Targeted AE, -500 HP/tick DoT, -105 AC debuff, Disease Based)
– Casts Avatar Power (PBAE, Dispel, Unresistable)

 

Step 15

Go back to Dranik’s Scar and locate Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350). Give him Decrepit Hilt. He will give it back.

– Say “cleaning up da hilt”
– Say “shady jeweler”

 

Step 16

Get Jewelcrafting to 100: Jewelcrafting Guide.  **You can skip this if you know someone who can make you Nocturnal Mask of Acurity (tradable) for Step 19**

 

Step 17

Train Elder Elvish Language to 100. You can buy the first point at your Guildmaster and spam group chat in the language to max it out.

Step 18

1) Buy a Platinum Bar from a vendor – Noirin Khalen, Plane of Knowledge, East Trade Building (-80, +335). Use Find.

2) Buy an Electrum Bar from the same vendor and have an Enchanter enchant it (have them enchant a couple incase of a combine fail — these are cheap).

Step 19

1) Go to Fironia Vie and locate Corfia Nultethen. She can be in 1 of 2 locations based on where the “good” races are located on your server — see map. Bring a Jeweler’s Kit (or whoever is doing your Jewelcraft combine — as mentioned in Step 16).

2) “Hail” Corfia Nultethen. She will respond in Elder Elvish only.

3) Give her Platinum Bar.
4) Say “nocturnal mask of acuity”

She will emote asking for another item:

5) Craft or have someone else craft Nocturnal Mask of Acurity (tradable).

You’ll need:
2x Darkened Star Rose Quartz — Purchase these from Corfia Nultethen (where you’re at now)
1x Enchanted Electrum Bar — Get an Electrum Bar enchanted by an Enchanter

Combine these in some type of Jeweler’s Kit to create Nocturnal Mask of Acuity

6) Give Nocturnal Mask of Acuity to Corfia Nultethen. She will emote again:

7) Give Decrepit Hilt to Corfia Nultethen. Follow the dialogue:

– Say “favor”
– Say “veksar”
– Say “galuk drek”

 

Step 20

Go to Veksar with a group and locate Decaying Lord Galuk Drek. When you zone in you’ll see emote: 

This place is basically a maze so you’re on your own on how to get to him. I marked his room on the map with a Red Circle. Kill him and loot Skeletal Tome of Galuk Drek.

 

Step 21

Go back to Fironia Vie and locate Corfia Nultethen. Give her Skeletal Tome of Galuk Drek to receive
Glistening Hilt.

 

Step 22

Go back to Dranik’s Scar and locate Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350). Give him Glistening Hilt. He will give it back and emote:

– Click on all his dialogue if you want (not necessary).

 

Step 23

You need to collect 4 items:

Stone of Eternal Power: Northwest Eye – The Bloodfields – Ground Spawn
Stone of Eternal Power: Southwest Eye – Nobles’ Causeway – Ground Spawn
Stone of Eternal Power: Northeast Eye – Wall of Slaughter – Kill raid boss Dragorn Champion
Stone of Eternal Power: Southeast Eye – Muramite Proving Grounds – Ground Spawn

1) Stone of Eternal Power: Northwest Eye – The Bloodfields – Ground Spawn (+1530, +1040).  Behind fire torch on hill. Looks like a bag.

2) Stone of Eternal Power: Southwest Eye – Nobles’ Causeway – Ground Spawn (+1140, +670) – – Next to a campfire in Bone Cracker’s pit. Looks like a bag.

3) Stone of Eternal Power: Northeast Eye – Wall of Slaughter – Kill mini raid boss Dragorn Champion.

 

– Hits for 1600+
– Casts Dragorn Champion’s Venom (Targeted AE, 1500 Poison DD)
– Casts Dark Mass (NPC Hatelist, 800 DD, Chromatic Based)
– Casts Venom Claw (Single Target, 640 DD Lifetap, Posion Based)

4) Stone of Eternal Power: Southeast Eye – Muramite Proving Grounds – Ground Spawn (-3770, -720). Looks like a bag.

Step 24

Go back to Dranik’s Scar and locate Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350). Give him:

Stone of Eternal Power: Northeast Eye
Stone of Eternal Power: Southeast Eye

He will give him back and emote:

 

Step 25

 

Obtain 2 items:

1) 1x Spell: Fire (Sold at various Merchants). Easiest is from Tisiana who is a merchant at the Druid Rings in Lavastorm.

2) 1x Gemming Tool (tradable) – Created with Blacksmithing – Trivial 115.

You can either level up Blacksmithing yourself: Blacksmithing Guide or have someone else make it for you.

Gemming Tool Recipe:

1x Gemming Mold – Sold by Frankle Ironhair (use find) in Rivervale. Also sold by Armorer Caedus in Sanctus Seru.

2x High Quality Metal Bits
      2 x Small Piece of High Quality Ore — See note below **
       1 x Water Flask

 **You can buy the ore from various merchants around Norrath. However it needs to be chiseled down with a chisel from blocks/bricks.  It is sold in limited quantities on server up. If you can’t find any you’ll need to farm it. Smithing Chisel can be found in PoK on Borik Darkanvil.

Step 26

Go to Butcherblock Mountains and locate Gridbar Galund (+2330, +2120).

1) Give him:

Stone of Eternal Power: Northwest Eye
Stone of Eternal Power: Southwest Eye
Stone of Eternal Power: Northeast Eye
Stone of Eternal Power: Southeast Eye

2) Then give him 1x Spell: Fire and 1x Gemming Tool.

3) Then give him Glistening Hilt

You’ll receive Carved Keg Stamp.

 

Step 27

Go to Shadowhaven and locate Koren Galund (-305, +1450). Give her Carved Keg Stamp to receive
Tube of Setting Solution.

Step 28

Go back to Butcherblock Mountains and locate Gridbar Galund (+2330, +2120). Give him Tube of Setting Solution to receive Hilt of Eternal Power.

Step 29

Go back to Dranik’s Scar and locate Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350). Give him Hilt of Eternal Power. He will give it back and emote:

You can follow his dialogue if you wish but it’s not necessary.

Step 30

Go to The Ruined City of Dranik with a small raid and locate Krekk Brimblade (+1000, -1200). Give him:

Blackfall Blade
Potion of Blackfall Spirit

He will attack. Kill him and loot your 1.5 Epic: Champion’s Sword of Eternal Power!

– Hits for 2,200+
– AE Rampages
– Casts Death Strike (Single Target, Slow/2000 HP DD, Unresistable)
– Has some knockback/stun abilities
– Slowable

 

 

Step 31

Go back to Dranik’s Scar and locate Korbuk Brimblade (-1050, -1350). “Hail” him to receive 5 AA points and Title: Conqueror.
